Where children use the making of stories to develop their creative potential

At storyMAKERS we go further.
Whilst we provide CLUBS, COACHING & YOUTUBE content for kids to help build their creative confidence, we also know that it is our attitudes as parents, teachers, care-givers & educators that determine the values our children grow up with.
This is why we also provide online webinars
for adults to work to break down the misconceptions around creativity that block creative potential and provide tools to support creative development in every home

creative development : what you NEED TO KNOW
Our attitudes determine the values our children live by. The chronic collapse of opportunities for creative development in schools and at home has put us in a CREATIVITY CRISIS during a time when, according to ALL economic forecasts, creativity is THE NUMBER 1 SKILL necessary in an AI future of unprecedented change and economic instability.
It is urgent we take action. This video explains why.
Our misunderstanding about what creativity is - and what creative development actually needs - has caused the crisis in creative confidence we are experiencing in our children. The stigma around art and the ‘its not for me’ attitude towards creative tasks that so many of us experience have made something natural and intrinsic feel out of reach.
At storyMAKERS we know that creativity is much simpler than we think.
This video explains.
Do you think “I’m not creative” or “my child is not creative”? What if I told you that the reason you think this is less about actual creativity and more about deeply ingrained messaging within our society and culture. These are barriers standing in the way of creative potential.
In this video we break all these misconceptions down
We believe story-making is the most accessible and most powerful tool for the type of autonomous, child-led creative development that we’re after here at storyMAKERS. Story-making urges us to expand our curiosity and openness, helps us to better understand what inspires and motivates us and deals, above all things, in MEANING.
This video explains how.
